I photograph events with an understanding of how the images will be used, whether for press, websites, reports or social media. My background in communication and photojournalism shapes how I approach each assignment, with attention to both storytelling and atmosphere.
I focus on creating images that capture genuine moments, people and context. The goal is always to communicate what’s happening, not just to record it. I’m also mindful of context and consent, and have experience ensuring anonymity when needed, especially in projects involving children or vulnerable groups.
I have documented openings, performances, festivals, workshops and panel discussions for institutions such as Oslo World, Oslo Runway, Sandefjord Kunstforening, Oslo Kunstforening, Forbundet Frie Fotografer (FFF), Fotogalleriet, TrAP, Nitja Centre for Contemporary Art, Kloden Teater, Scenekunstbruket, and a range of independent artists and curators.
Each collaboration is different. Some events call for a more discreet, documentary approach, others for an active presence where direction and timing matter.
In every case, I adapt to the setting and purpose, always keeping in mind how the photographs will live beyond the moment itself.
